Is devil may cry two worth playing?
So I just beat dmc 3 and am working through dmc, and wanted to know if dmc ii is worth playing. I heard it's ane of the weaker games, just I desire to know if it'southward actually BAD, or just not every bit good as the others. Will it at least be enjoyable if I liked one and three, or is information technology something I should skip?

I'm gonna get equally far and say information technology'southward ane of the worst games I've ever played in my life.
I enjoy a fair share of bad games, but this one makes me mentally tired. It has practiced OST then bank check that out at least.

"Mentally tired" is the best term for information technology I've always heard. Every fourth dimension I've tried to play that game across the first I end upwardly leaving it somewhere in the first v missions cause after I sink a little time into it just booting the game up is enough to make my optics unfocus and brainstorm the slow and blissfully unaware descent into unconsciousness. I don't know when I pass out or after how long, simply I practise. Every time.

It's just straight up not a good game. Characters, story, gameplay are all lacklustre at all-time. It was so crap that it might too exist non-canon since it does not tie into the main story of any other game in any way, and the devs barely bear upon information technology in the History of DMC video. Information technology's admittedly skippable, only if you're still feeling curious, give it a shot and encounter how you feel.

It'due south not adept but if y'all got the HD Collection, i think it's worth trying it since yous already paid for it.
The first level should give you enough insight on the whole game.

Max Payne and Beat are great tertiary person shooters. DMC2 is perhaps improve at shooting than melee, but I wouldn't call information technology 'neat' at information technology.

There is so many other games that are better third person shooters... Fortnite, Warframe, Resident Evil etc. DMC two isn't even a good 3rd person shooter.

I played it and completed it as a kid and recall enjoying it don't become me wrong no where near equally much as the offset one but it was OK. Average game bad dmc game.

It really depends on the type of fan yous are. I knew it was going to exist bad, but I was determined to play every game all the style through. Aye, it was tedious and repetitive, but i just did it to say I did it. The plot made no sense to me at all likewise.

I personally thought it was fine. Information technology did drag on a piffling, only there are similar weird amulet gem things that buff your Devil trigger which was a premise I thought was really neat. I might be remembering information technology wrong though lol it's been a while

The best way to enjoy DMC2 is to download a completed save file that has Trish unlocked. She plays so much improve since her moves are copy and pasted from DMC1 Dante.

No. Go to a batting cage and but allow the machine shoot yous in the crotch a few times. Basically the same experience.

I'd recommend putting information technology on easy and turning your brain off for a fun fourth dimension. Wall running is fun as hell and is the reason trickster became ane of the ongoing staples of the franchise.
It was so easy, information technology's the only DMC game I beat on the hardest mode. Has a few absurd cutscenes but that's the majority of it redeeming value.

It meant so picayune in the timeline continuity that they inverse the canon order of the games so DMC5 could happen.
Capcom should honestly just retcon this game. Information technology serves no purpose
